The competition's two phases

Phase 1 was an open, international competition at a general level. By the deadline 12 June, 237 proposals were handed in. 3 September the jury announced the six finalists who were to be invited on to Phase 2.

Phase 2. These proposals have now been refined and detailed and all six finalists delivered before deadline 26 February 2010. 12 April the jury will announce the winners.

The jury may announce a maximum of three proposals as winners, on condition that a sufficient number of feasible proposals are available. All winning proposals are considered as winners according to the regulations regarding public procurement. The jury may also decide to purchase ideas and elements that may be of value for the solution of the assignment. All winners have the right to participate in the secondary "competition with negotiation". This competition concerns the supply of architectural services connected to the building project.
